MY 69 and 71 DT's here. The 71 was raced and the guy I bought it from put a chrome headlight on it and the battery was mounted with a rubber strap down where the tool box would have been. His wiring "harness" was something but the lights worked. No gauges. It was so loud I put the Xducer on it. He had also added a 21" front wheel, fork brace, etc. It was faster than my 69 for sure but I recall it being really peaky compared to the 69 but it liked to wheelie. Next is my 72 Husky 360. It was fast and in a straight line would really fly. I sure love this thread!

I won't lie, Totally whipped after riding in a 45 min. Gran Prix and then an hour long Ironman race. 1983 brought me the win in my last Ironman . Stuck to GP's after that.

Yep ! Rode Red Rock, Cal City ( still do ) Spangler Hills, Death Valley's Providence Mountains, Chatsworth hills, Simi area, Dove Springs, Dumont, Glamis and parts East.
Plus all the race tracks around So Cal.
