New here, not to motorcycles and other two wheel engine driven toys.
Retired Navy, Vietnam Vet. Retired Field Service X-Ray Engineer.
Started riding in '64. Honda 50 Dream, Honda CB-160, '68 Royal Enfield 650, '67Honda 305 Dream, '75 KZ400, 76 Honda Gold Wing, and now a freeby '71 Yamaha CT1.
Too many mini-bikes to list. '48 to 2007
I'm into off roading 2 and 4- wheelers in my mountains / high desert.
Retirement is meant for fun,

Welcome to the club. This site is awesome. If you have to do any work to your bike and need a little or a lot of help or advice, this is the place to be. 
The people here are great. I suggest that you read the conduct rules and search first before you post. Many times you will find previous threads that you can read through to find answers to questions that others have already posted. Enjoy your new bike and your retirement!

It's worth confirming your model with the VIN listings in the Tech Library as a CT2 could have a manufactured date of '71 (for the '72 market) and will have a VIN starting CT1.
