I need to get back out there again someday.

Thanks to everyone who came out for a great day of riding.
We got to watch a handful of people try to scale the big hill…mostly unsuccessful. One guy tried to do a reverse flip about 15 feet from the top on his quad. Fortunately he was able to somehow avoid any serious injury.
Another highlight was test riding an electric dirt bike from a  company named “Cake” from Sweden. They have a dealership in Marina Del Rey if you want to take a peek.
  
 

Dang..looks like great fun again. Like the Kawi and the Huskys. Dinosaurs once again roam the earth! The Cake..humm I guess ya gotta try it. 
I will be there next month for sure.

Regarding the lack of crowd at HV, all the “red sticker” bikes can’t ride there now for the summer season so that would eliminate some traffic.
Arin, is your Husky a red sticker?

My Husqvarna fe 501 is a green sticker instead of a red sticker. That was one of the main reasons why I bought it brand new before California is no longer giving out titles for brand new bikes.

My husky is ready to rumble!

Update:

I just traded in my 2022 Husqvarna fe 501 for a 2023 KTM 500 "6 days adition". This happens to be my 4th dual sport bike in my collection!

With that being said....I will be taking my almighty 1982 Yamaha IT 465 to Hungry Valley once again. I have added a heat shield the side cover where it started to melt immediately after our first ride + replaced the head gasket when Husky Dave noticed it was leaking oil out of the top end. All fixed and ready to rip!
