I tried for an hour. Gave up and sent it to forum member DEET. A famous actor once said "A man has got to know his limitations". I found mine in that oil pump.

Another forum member posted awhile back that he was successful. Can't remember who.

People have told me that I need professional help, even thought I never tried the oil-pump-spring-pin trick.

I've done a couple of them now, the pins are a faf.
Best tip I picked up from the site was to assemble the pump whilst holding it in a large clear bag to catch the pins as they fly out.
