I have replaced some of the original stock air filters on my vintage Hondas with K&N clamp on pod filters. Has anyone replaced the air filter on their Yamaha DT2 with a modern filter? Any pros or cons? Thanks!

New, pre oiled filters are still available from Yamaha and I would stick with that.

May change how much air it’s able to take in and change the carbs air/fuel mixture… too lean and you’ll be up to yer elbows in a top end re-build… ouch!
