DT 2 MX 250 piston for DT 2 250enduro was created by mpritch41

I need a rd oversized patches n for my 1972 DT 250.
I’m seeing a lot of DT 2 Mx pistons for sale at reasonable prices… it should work for this bike?
going to race it cross country .

Generally all the 250 pistons through the years are interchangeable from "72 on. There is way to compare on parts sites like Partzilla i think but not sure how to do it. Someone will come along to help. So you need a 3rd over piston kit for a DT2 1972?

I found this at a very good price compared to everything else that popped up. No rings & looks like it uses the L shape 'dykes' top ring which would be original for a DT2 so if ya go that way be sure to buy the correct rings.eBay item number:123512740602
