CT3 pilot jet was created by Dennis D

Manual says it's suppose to be a 25 and I found a 35 in it when I took it apart.
Anyone have access to a service bulletin about this carb showing any factory
upgrades? Thanks, D

It's in the back of the 71-73 100-175 Yamaha combined service manual in the Tech Library.

Why not try adjusting the air screw, and find out for yourself if the jet is the correct size or not? Ethanol type fuels, will often mean jetting adjustments are required.

If your air screw needs to be more than 2 turns out to provide best running, you might need a smaller jet. If it's 1 turn or less out, you will need to go bigger. Very easy adjustment to make.

Bike had a chinese carb installed on it when I got it. This is a CT3 carb I am rebuilding to install on the bike. I ordered both jets from Sudco so I can tune it if need be.
