Clutch cover sealant was created by A.literal.forest

I have my clutch cover off and saw that in the manual they want you to use yamabond #5, but I'm not able to get that any time soon and I'm wondering if there are any alternatives that a regular parts store would have that y'all use

Some people don’t use anything so they can reuse

I used the brush on Permatex Gasket Sealant on the gasket for my DT2 clutch cover.

I just put a thin film of grease on both sides of the gasket in case I have to go back in there!
Not that it ever happens....

I used to go dry until I learned on this site that a bit of grease will enable easy disassembly and reuse so this is how I do it.   But dry works but these gaskets are not cheap
