Both CMSNL and Partzilla show the length of the DT3 chain to be 110 links.

The chain that Yambits list, and that I bought (DID 520), is also 110 links. However, when fitted, this is waaaaaay too long!

In the repro parts manual in the Tech Library here, in brackets after the chain size is shown 102 links - does anyone know if this is the correct length? I couldn't see anything in the service manual regarding chain length.

I will pull the chain tight by hand and see what the overlap is before removing any links, but was wondering if anyone had an original document that showed the chain length.

102 links is correct for stock gearing 14 / 44 .( from DT2 paper parts manual )
