Was there a piece of foam on the bottom of the seat pan above
the battery on these? Didn't see one in the parts listing. If so, could
someone with an original tell me how thick it was? Thanks, Dennis

Mine was about half there. I am going to replace it with a piece of 1" foam. If I recall it was about 3/4 of an inch but could have compacted over the years. Mine was the exact size of the little square rise on the pan that sits over the battery.

I could measure but I think mine is pretty decayed. What I do remember is that it's a very non-dense, open cell, soft, fluffy foam.
