Fender bracket measurement needed was created by Dennis D

I need the distance between the mounting holes on the rear bracket on a 73 CT3 front fender.
I just obtained a fender and brackets and it looks a tad high off the tire to me. I have looked on
the net, but it is hard to tell from the pictures I have found. Thanks, Dennis

What size is your front wheel?

Hey Dennis, it looks just like mine did before disassembly. I think the larger space between the fender and tire is because the CT3 has an 18" front wheel. I used a tape measure on mine and found that the rear bracket is 4" on center of the bolt holes from the fork to the top of the fender and roughly 11" from the rear to the center of the hole that mounts to the fork. The front brackets are 5 7/8" on center measured in a straight line.

Cheers

Could you get me the centers on the holes that mount to the fender and the fork tube? I have a DT3 that I can compare measurements too to see if it is different. Thanks, D
When I measure between the mounting holes on this I get 3 7/8.

Thanks Mike, same as mine. Now I'll have to find something else to fret over, LOL!
