1978 yz250E oversize question. was created by Joe1028

Hi,
There is enough liner at skirt area but it looks thinner in some ports is this an illusion? Haha , or is the aluminum covering edges?
i want to know if i can go to .080"(2mm) over...
bike ran great all season racing but last moto of season while in the high 50s it seized , driftes a few seconds and refired and nursed to finish...
Piston seized at corners and scuffed piston on exhaust side only, bad enough to need replaced...
it was a wiesco and running at .0035" and was running great..
I kkow old low silicon wiescos needed .0045 for this size bore or it would seize but i read newer composition only requires .0015" which seems really tight..
anyone have a decent cyclinder, i can bore/hone it ? What other year cylinders may work?.i know porting on 78 was unique...
TIA, JOE
