my vin is 446-01-5137 made in December of 1973 the bike is title a 1974 DT360 the piece in question is #5 in partzilla list thanks can't find the info on the o ring

O-ring is a 007 size. I was getting them at O'reilly's but have bought an o-ring set from Harbor Freight.

I inspected the carb and found no numbers at all  it's a stock Yamaha DT360 and I am looking for info on the needle jet setter piece that takes a O ring

Carb number should be stamped on front of carb across the flat surface where the "choke" (cold start circuit plunger) is located.  Small stamping.

There will be numbers on the carb, but probably covered in dirt. I'd expect to see 445, followed by two other characters, stamped on yours.
