Nice Bassani for an RT1 was created by Schu
Nice Bassani pipe listed on Ebay for an RT1 360. I have a similar pipe on two of my enduros and really like them.

Very tempting.. I have to believe it’d fit an RT2?

The part number for the 71 pipe on partzilla is different from the 72 and 73 models which are identical, but it looks like primarily the silencer at the end is the difference between 71 and 72/73. Guessing it would fit, but not sure. Hopefully someone else can validate.
Below is from the seller, sounds like they aren't sure if it's really a bassani and there is a conflict in the description, since RT1 is not 1973.
You are bidding on a aftermarket exhaust for a 1973 Yamaha RT1 360. Looks to be in okay condition. Not sure who made it maybe Bassani?

The seller is just being honest because they are not familiar with Bassani pipes. It is fabricated with the same Bassani design aspects as the two I have on the bikes below. I have bought from this seller a few times and they are great to work with. If it is still at this price when the auction is closing I will most likely buy it. I paid considerably more for the two that I have. Who knows, maybe I’ll add an RT1 to the herd some day!

Not me.
But it showed that there had been 47 viewers after I posted the info here on the forum. Prior to that it had only 8 viewers, so I assume it was someone that learned of it here. Whoever it is will most likely be happy with it. They sound great and are not as loud as the many other aftermarket pipes I own. The loudest of them all is the Hooker pipe that I currently have on my CT2.
