Glad you found it. Just make sure you inspect, lubricate all your cables periodically. And as Deet said in response to my comment, don't overdo the grease in the junction/splitter. Too much is just as bad as too little. It just needs to be lubricated so the disc slides freely within the tube.

The picture included is great; I may be missing something, but how do you remove the upper cable from the junction? I have an upper cable but it does not have the round attaching member on it.

The junction lid usually comes as part of the top cable. If your lid is missing, then you probably need a new upper cable.
Saying that, there are probably folks here who have "mended" theirs!
