the mx tank works fine on the 74-76 dt 250/360/400 It was bought for my 75 dt250
like stated different petcock/gas cap and made of aluminum

Here are the two tanks . . .
One is about as nice as you'll ever find for a used tank . . . I've seen nos tanks worse then this one.

The other tank is not as nice . . . but is nicer then anything on eBay
Has some scratches . . . would make a good core for a repaint, or use as is for a every day rider.
Both tanks have lite rust , but nothing loose or flaking.

Camera battery went dead, but should still be able to post a few pictures later tonight . . .after battery is charged.

those are nice, it took me a long time to find a nice tank and it still needed work. Made this comment to my paint guy and he said "Yea they were dirt bikes"
finding a nice tank is special. 43 years old, a survivor.

Ok . . . scratched up "rider tank" first
It also has two or three VERY shallow dents, but I couldn't get them to show up in the pictures.
Someone that knows what they were doing, would have no problem removing these almost non-existent dents.
Has some rust inside . . . will need cleaning and maybe a metal sealer treatment of some sort.
$150 + shipping . . . Tpap has first dibs

(Part #1 of 2)
This 2nd tank is near mint, but is not perfect.
Has lite rust and some old gas varnish inside . . . will need cleaning and sealer.
One VERY shallow dent about the size of a nickel on top side of tank
Has a few pin-head size nicks in the paint, and some lite scratches ... most of which I think are only in the clear coat.
