1973 175 enduro CT-3, Headlight was created by harryo78

Hello, I'm restoring a CT-3 and am trying to locate a headlight Yamaha #251-84120-61-00. I'm nearing completion but some things are harder to find than others, headlight being one. I've read about converting over to a 12 volt system? any comments or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! John

CT3 and CT1 headlights are the same. I got one for my CT1 on Ebay

Here's a 6v that I purchased and installed (the pins are a pain, btw):

And if you do a 12v mod:

How did you rig up the adjuster section? The light doesn't have an adjuster bracket. Did you just install the new light in the old bowl.

The sites are dead now. Do you have the numbers so I can do a search. Also do you happen to know the Diameter? I noticed the back of the bulb does not have a angle adjuster. Did you use the old bowl or just eliminate that part?
