Here’s my checklist for getting my motorcycle ready for the season TiresI check not only the tread depth but also the overall condition of the tires. Even if the tires are almost new, it’s still best to inspect them thoroughly. BrakesI always check the brake system:brake fluid levelfluid colorpad and rotor wear BatteryI check the charge level and recharge if necessary. I also clean the terminals to make sure they’re clean and securely fastened. SuspensionI check the front fork and rear shock for leaks, and I also check the wheel bearings for play and unusual noises. Oil and FluidsI change the engine oil. I also check the other technical fluids. ChainI clean, lubricate, and adjust the tension. Appearance and Protective FilmI decided to freshen up the bike’s appearance a bit. I replaced the protective film on the fuel tank, since it already had scratches and chips.I didn’t do anything drastic, but the bike now looks much fresher.
