Exhausting Weight Loss Program was created by Schu
Here’s a little bit of useless info for you…..
Every time I roast an exhaust pipe on an open fire they always seem noticeably lighter when I pick them out of the ashes the following day. I’ve always been curious as to exactly how much carbon and oily spooge has been burned away. So this time I weighed each pipe before and after with a handheld digital luggage scale. Here’s the before and after numbers.
GT80B was 6.20 lbs before and 5.78 lbs after for a loss of .42 lbs
DT125B was 9.62 lbs before and 9.30 after for a loss of .32 lbs
CT2 was 6.80 lbs before and 6.26 after for a loss of .54 lbs
DT400B was 9.74 lbs before and 9.28 after for a loss of .46 lbs
The CT2 pipe was plugged up to the point where it was really effecting its performance. I have sandblasted the pipes and today I will prime and spray them with VHT flameproof paint in flat black. I wish they offered a semi gloss in flameproof because I’m not a fan of flat black exhausts but I want to try this 2000 degree flameproof ceramic paint to see how well it holds up.

That's pretty interesting, it's fun to burn out smoker pipes, I enjoyed doing mine, kills the mosquitos too
