My grandson is now 4 years old and he definitely shows an interest in my bikes now. My 3 granddaughters walk right by without even noticing them…. My guess is once my grandson is old enough to actually ride one, it will then prompt the girls interest to challenge him.

I simply clipped my cell phone to the front plate of my 100 and we ran it around the yard. He doesn’t want to stop!

Hey, great. Won't be long & you will have to buy him something like our (just turned) 4 year old the other day. I'll find a clip later, gas gas electric balance bike but I believe he has the footrests on now, so it's all on haha. Looks like you have plenty of room to manoeuvre there so you might have to get the go fast one with programable modes. Amazing what's out there. Ours lives about 5 hours away so not quite hands on for us.

Mine lives 4 hours away…. But he came to stay with us for four days which is why I took a couple vacation days off work! I have to give him back on Sunday, and I’m thinking I’ll be ready to give him back by then!

Thanks for all the positive comments. I used to have a mile long trail thru the woods on the back end of my property where my boys rode the wheels off their Honda XRs. Unfortunately I let the trails grow over when they left home and it is beyond my abilities to groom it back. However, my youngest boy has recently purchased a skid steer that is pretty much unstoppable. It has tracks instead of wheels. He plans to buy a brush hog for it next year and that is when we will bring the trail back to life just in time for my grandkids to ride the same trail. He remembers the layout and could probably cut it with his eyes closed.

Skid steer with tracks is just like a caterpillar … just smaller…
How do you get such blue water in your pond?

Ha. That blue pond water comes from a gallon jug called Pond Blue.
This image is hidden for guests.
It stays in the top 6 inches or so and reduces the suns ability to promote excessive bottom weed growth. It’s not easy keeping ponds clear of weeds and looking nice. But I’ve been doing it for 33 years.
The pond is well populated with Blue Gill and Smallmouth Bass. And a few turtles and bull frogs. It gets the occasional muskrats but I’ve learned how to deal with them before they do too much damage.
When my boys were young we had so much fun playing pond hockey in the winter. All their friends would show up for some serious hockey. Sometimes a little too serious.
