Are Franks Forks still trading? was created by Gr8uncleal

Airbornesilva (in the US) and I (in the UK) have contacted them more than once regarding forks for my RD200, but neither of us have had a response, and they haven't answered Tony's calls.

Thanks.

Hard to say, website has a note "Frank is packing his bags and moving. We will be reopening and start taking orders again mid November."

They have been hard to contact on and off for a long time. Wasn't that long ago all they had was a phone number and you had to mail them a check.  Once you got through to them, that is.  No way to tell if the above note is current or from a few years ago.

Thanks Mark.

I'm not on Facebook as such, but there's enough info on their FB page that I am allowed to see that suggests that either a) re-opening mid-November is an old entry or b) they move around a lot!

Good to know Mark, I called yesterday and left a message with my phone number so I guess I'll see if they call back.

I'm pretty sure Frank is no longer the owner and the new owner tried to become more "modern"...  what I'm trying to say is they have never been what you'd call "tech savvy".  Back in Frank's day, once you got in touch on the phone (no email or website) they gave you a price and the only way to pay was with a paper check mailed to them.  No credit cards, PayPal, anything else.  That wasn't many years ago.

Periods and frustrations of not being able to contact them have been common over the last 15 years or so I've known of them.  The fact that their website (I'm not talking about their "Facebook page", whatever that is

) is still up and that their phone is on are likely positive signs?

Which tubes are you looking for?  There may be another source.

RD200, front drum brake model.

Used, straight and with good chrome would be fine.
