I believe I have fuel in the carb bowl but not at the plug

If the carb is blocked in the jets but choke jet is clear then plug should get wet on a closed throttle while kicking or electric starting. So first off does it suck against your hand over the carb on open throttle while kicking over or using electric. If it's definitely not sucking then crank seals popped out is first thought & likely the left side or I'd think plug would be oily if right side popped. Partzilla shows a retainer on both sides. But a good crankcase explosion or a case full of fuel then kicked over hard can force the retainers bent away on the right side. Not sure if the left has two screws so may go right over & be well retained--but strange things happen under pressure. As usual just guessing without being there.

Check your float level, may be too low.
