Does anybody know the size of the left crank oil seal for a enduro dt 175?

I'm not sure that we know exactly which model you have, although apologies if you've posted this and I've missed it. However, I've taken the thread title at face value and assume that it is an 'E' model from 1978.

I find the CMSNL website very good as both a parts and photographic reference library. I am attaching a link to what I believe to be the correct part, and this gives dimensions (many parts have dimensions "hidden" within them).

I would strongly suggest that you wait for MarkT to reply, as there is at least one seal on the DT175 where he recommends the application of a seal from a different model.

MarkT says to use the 77 to 79 IT 175 that’s what I’m going to use

Yes, don't use generic seals for crank.  IT175 seal is best on ignition side.
