Do you have a photo of your first Yamaha? was created by LETSJET
I went through my family 35 mm slides that I inherited and found a photo of my first enduro. It’s my 1971 HT-1B 90 cc.. Waited for a 1971 model so I could get purple and turn signals. Rode to Al’s cycle shop in North Las Vegas on my sting ray to buy it.
I have a restored clone of that first new motorcycle.
Let’s see vintage first Yamaha photos.

Yup, it is my avatar. I bought it new in 1971 for $750 as an Enduro. It continued to evolve until I gave it to my Sister in law in the 90s, sadly she let it get away. I still have the original title.

I took this black and white picture and developed it in my high school photography class in 1971. Fast-forward 50 years, and I just got my dad's old CT-1 running , and now have the same front fender on it. That fender, some Scott grips, and a compression release are the only things I have left from my old CT-1.
He bought two of them in 1971, and after I moved out of the house I rode mine into the ground, while his was only used a little bit, then sat in storage all this time.

Three images attached.
1) My FS1-E (Fizzy) moped.
2) Gr8auntiepat and her RD200DX (which we still have) in 1981.
3) A couple of my first attempt at a resto (a RD250DX), probably about 1982 or 1983. Yes, it was finished(!), but I've never been a great taker of photos.
Sorry that they are so small - just scans of photos. I'll ask Gr8auntiepat if she has the capability to make them full size.

I don’t have an original photo but here is the first Yamaha. Our property backed up against thousand of state property acreage. This little RD60-B was ridden as an off road motorcycle and , literally, shook apart in a few short years. my cousin gave me his barely ridden 74 DT360 which I rode everywhere and loved to death until I ran it into the side of a car trying to ride away from a CHP. I still rode it after replacing the broken shocks but it was so twisted it left two tracks. Good times!

This is all I have, screen grab from 8mm film put on a cd.. It was one of those all day partner races in South Carolina, I had a husky 360 for my enduro bike and the Yamaha became the sacrificial bike for this race. Can't remember where it was exactly but I do remember Jack Penton using me for traction.

My old 1983 YZ 125. Bought the bike around 1991. First project bike. Ran when I bought it but previous owner ran it without an air cleaner. Completely dismantled it and fixed it up before riding it. Took this pic before selling it in 2019. Awesome bike but places to ride off road were disappearing in NY back then and never got to ride it like it deserved to be.

Here are a couple of photos of my first Yamaha enduro, a 1973 LT3 100cc.
And 'hot shoeing' it. I don't remember it having that much power. Maybe the picture was taken when I had a Hooker header on it that someone loaned me for a few months.
