Randy Marble Sold Marble Motors was created by LETSJET

I just found out that Randy Marble sold Marble Motors. He says it will continue on with the new owner. Anyone used Marble Motors lately with the new owner Mike, thoughts, comments?
For all the 1968 DT-1 250 owners here on the forum, if I have to use another painter what is the standard of white that's accepted as close to stock? There is a lot of white's out there.

I'd heard Tim Raines in OK did Randy Marbles paint work, I can't confirm but others may know.  Regardless at Barber last October I gave Tim a 68 dt1 tank & HL bucket and they are perfect.  So I'd recommend Tim as a great option to consider.
Regarding pearl white options, I've had 68 tanks painted locally, we matched color from an NOS headlight bucket & went with "Ford UG" used on Explorers/Expeditions, the shade of white & metal flake very close match IMHO.  My 2 cents.

Good luck

2 of my RT3s were painted by Tim. Exceptional and flawless quality.

Marbles did several paint jobs for me too. When I talked to Randy he had two different locations to send parts depending on what was needed. He indicated both were his locations but maybe Tim was his painter…just know that results were like glass. I also have an NOS headlight bucket for 68 DT1 Pearl White to paint match. Local painter right here in town has painted a dozen Harleys for me so I have options. Yeah!

As soon as you get your 68 DT1 parts back and are happy, I'll send mine out to him. Pictures when available please. My 1968 DT1 frame is at the powder coater as the parts treasure hunt continues. Still looking for a bolt on 250 tank for the DT but I'm going to paint a pristine 250 tank with mounting pucks to use in the meantime. Did you do the pearl?
