I know many members suggest a forum search before asking questions that have been repeated many times over. I had no brake light and no blinkers working with a new battery. I did a quick search and found MarkT's prior post on chasing down shorts by starting at the key switch and what wires should have juice. Two minutes and I determined some paint had gotten on the exposed battery terminals while they were disconnected and that the foot brake light actuator was slightly out of adjustment. Everything works now. The search function does take some time going through irrelevant strings but I just wanted to shout out that it was super helpful. I didn't have to wait for responses and was able to dig right in once I had the tips. One huge reason this site is so incredible.
