When I acquired my '73, it came with the owners manual, warranty card, title from original owner, bill of sale from subsequent owner, and a Yamaha plastic ziplock style document bag.

They appear old, but I don't know if they're original or not.  They're original enough for me.  Just thought I'd share.

That's awesome having all the original paperwork. A couple of my bikes had the owners manual and they were in that same type of Yamaha plastic bag. I have acquired owner manuals for most of my other bikes on eBay, but none of them had the bags.

There's an RT3 owners manual just like that for sale on etsy.com
It's been listed for a long time, but appears to be in very good shape.

EDIT:
I am referring to the manual photo posted by 1971DT250

The owner's manual shown in the first post is certainly original Yamaha...  but it looks like a "compilation" manual like maybe it was published to replace a lost manual?  It appears to cover several model years.

I've never seen that version.  Thanks for posting.

I thought it could be too since it has a parts and bin sticker all its own.  I figure one that came with the bike wouldn't have a separate parts sticker on it duplicating the part number of the manual printed on the cover.

I wonder if the "labeling" like was even done in 1973..?
In the quantity.. it sez 5... Seems odd, wouldn't just the bill of lading contain that? Of course, I wasn't into tracking stuff like that at 12 years old...

With a dealer and order number listed, that must be what this is.  This was probably part of a batch order and this one simply had the sticker on it.

I've seen brochures with the same stickers attached .
My theory was it was on the top brochure of the pack .
Using the same logic , I'd expect your manual came in a pack of 5 ,
and your item was top of the pack .
