Maybe this is the case with National magazines but I work in advertising with city and regional magazines. We’ll boot any advertiser to the curb if they try to use their buying power to sway editorial coverage. I do have competitors who do engage in pay to play tactics. Sad part is the general public isn’t usually aware and large companies have been successful in using their buying power to get preferential coverage. One you let that genie out of the bottle it’s over. 

Well, here's the tank I bought off of ebay and had restored by a local shop. Amazingly the guy did it in less than two weeks. The inside wasn't rusty, it just needed to be washed clean.  The cap I sent off to be rechromed.
The original tank that Santa landed on and was dented I sent off to also be restored. Won't see that one back until spring.
