I met a few guys on the net who rode Yamahas of different sizes, We met in 2010, and next year 2011. at Gorman Ca. off road park, to ride the different trails. I remember one trails was named the Butt Crack. Funny how we remember things like that, and can't remember our anniversaries.  Someone named our gathering, the Enduro Fest. Another time we rode  the dirt trail up the front of Palomer Mountain, then rode down the south side, to Ramona..I rode my 68 DT 1. Any of you guys still out there? Stan Cole

I don’t recall if we met at one of the Enduro Fest events or not, but a bunch of the regulars are still members here. I’ve made a couple and hope to connect again this year if time permits!

I found an article about Dave Meis and the first "Endurofest" at Gorman on a European website...  might have been "Classic Yams"...

I was just getting back into riding and was able to contact Dave and attend my first event at Gorman back in 2013 if I remember correctly.  So was a little late to the party.  Might have been a "Full Moon Fever" ride?.  Many of the original guys were there and are still here.  There was a 68 DT1 that trip and definitely remember PNTRBL on a borrowed Hodaka 100...  a bike I wanted as a kid but can't remember even seeing except in magazines. 

Great people and I still attend as many events as I can. 

Is this the Stan that was parked by Leroy ( Mainjet on the forum ??? ) Leroy had a 68' DT1.
