Cleaned out the CT2 carb but seems the brass fuel transfer tube that comes out of the carb body and enters the starting circuit hole might be missing. Maybe this carb doesn’t use one but I appreciate verification. 

 

My CT2 carb has one fitted.

The picture you posted of the carb bowl? Looks like the brass tube is in the starting circuit port!

Thanks Apex, I wondered if that was the case as well. I did a few quick taps on the bowl (inverted) to see if it was the case and would fall out. No such luck but I'll try some other way. I didn't want to damage the brass inside if it was part of the starting circuit.
