Steering head lock was created by tractor rocket

Hello. Probably a silly question, did all 1974 DT 100's come with a steering head lock? I've just picked up the same  little bike I had as a kid, it has a steering lock, but I can't remember my old bike having one. Pretty sure I would have remembered it if I had one. Thanks for your help.

Might be worth stating what part of the world you're in and where the bike is from - models sometimes varied in fitments from market to market and loads of US imports in the UK now.

US models got the steering lock in 1973. 
1963 YG1-T, 1965 MG1-T, Allstate 250, 1970 CT1b, 1971 R5, 1973 AT3MX, 1974 TS400L, 1975 RD350, 1976 DT175C, 1976 Husqvarna 250CR, 1981 DT175G, 1988 DT50, 1990 "Super" DT50, 1991 RT180, 2017 XT250

Australasian DT 250 A / 360 A parts book shows a steering lock  .
i'd suggest it is safe to say a DT 100 A would likewise have had one fitted .

I'd like to point out to Alan , I'm a Kiwi , and now an offended one  .  LOL
