Front wiring was created by Burrage
Hi guys does anyone have any illustrations or guides on the wiring in the headlight bowl and left hand switch. We have the wiring diagram which is helping but we are pretty sure we are missing some connectors. Any help appreciated
Cheers

I'm replying on the basis that it's your DT3 (always best to show which model alongside any question

).
Left switchgear will have 7 wires, in separate groups of 3 (yellow, green and blue) and 4 (dark green, dark brown (aka chocolate), pink and brown/white).
The yellow and green wires go into a 3 pin rubber connector (of which 1 terminal is left empty), and this connects to an intermediate connector, which in turn connects to the headlight bulb connector.
The blue and pink wires go into a 2 pin rubber connector and the remaining 3 are singles.
I have attached a couple of photos of mine.

I know it can be intimidating but Yamaha made it pretty easy for the assembly kids…like colored wires go to like colored wires. There may be different shades and some may have a stripe so clean them off good and have good lighting so you can see those differences. Also, from the factory there were no leftover connectors. All wires plugged in and no open connectors. If you don’t have turn signals then you’ll have a dark brown and a dark green empty female connectors.

Posting pictures of your "spaghetti bowl" with your questions about the wires would be helpful.

Looking at my two bikes, you should have three blues exiting the main harness in the headlight bowl. Two of these are crimped together at the end of a double female bullet and the third sits with the pink in that rubber connector.

Also, if you're not converting to a 12v system, then you will probably want to fit a 6v voltage regulator - you'll likely blow headlight bulbs if you don't.
As it happens, I happen to have an original used Yamaha one available (I am in the UK as well)! You can view details on fleabay (user id ronalbennet61), but obviously don't buy it from there - discount if you come direct.
