hello all
would anyone know where i can get rear shock alternative replacements for my 1974 dt100a model?  i have the originals which im keeping for later to keep original but, for now im buzzing around on my off time and can really use a pair. much appreciated if you point me the way or know the best appropriate approach to this!

There are some choices listed on eBay that are ASSAULT brand shock absorbers. You have to match them up by the dimensions provided in the description because they won't list your DT100. 
I have bought several pairs and they fit nice and work fine on my DTs. The photo below shows them on my DT100B but I don't recall the measurements. I bought them at mid-Ohio swap meet for $40, but they are usually around $100 on eBay.
Here is a link to a pair that might work if you compare measurements. Mine were a touch longer than the stock shocks and a little larger in diameter.
