What are these brackets? was created by Gr8uncleal

They came in a job lot of parts marked up as being from a 1975 DT250B.

They are similar to the rear indicator mounting brackets, but with enough differences to make me think that they're not.

As always, any assistance will be much appreciated!

Looks a bit like rear flasher mounts off something. That's my guess to start it off. "75 model is missing on partzilla but doubt they change in that year although "76 isn't quite the same looking as what you have here, so not sure what yours are off.

Thanks.

Yes, I've got a '74 DT360, and these are the same as the 400s, hence I can see that they are close, but no cigar!

Little bit of research late last night points in the direction of rear indicator mounts for the DT100.

I might present them up to my DT360A later on, to see if they are a viable alternative to the hard to find equivalent for that model, and the later 250 and 400 which used the same part (although the rubber mounting will be lost, of course).

It’s part of the 50 caliper machine gun mount, I converted mine to 30 cal, lighter.
Thanks Mark

Not much call for machine guns of any calibre in this corner of Dorset!
