Re the original post LT2 low power, i'm still hanging onto exhaust restriction unless there's something totally odd going on with original filter. I just hate being wrong!!.

I agree with RT325,

I once had a Kawasaki KE175 that would not run or have power  past 1/4 to 1/2  throttle with the stock air cleaner lid and filter installed even with a new air filter. Scratched my head for awhile in this one. Went thru the carb 3 times, checked the intake boot.

I drilled some big and small holes all around the air box so it could breath better and this helped but in the end  it ended up being the pipe was restricted and plugged.

While the air cleaner did show an immediate result I still think the exhaust could be a contributing factor.  So much so, I bought a new DeWalt pressure washer since that was what did it for you. Once the new Uni air cleaner foam arrives from that classic cycles eBay site I’ll know if that was a permanent fix but Ill still try to blow out more. Absolute respect for the advice given.

Left my header pipe in the log fire last night. Is a removable header off my LS3 not LT2. Came out clean this morning & was very built up inside.

Cant really have a log fire in town out here in California but we have a cabin on 400 acres near cali’s lost coast with some prime riding trails. Now that it’s running better I’ll be bringing it with me next time I go up. There’s a huge fire ring so I’ll give it a try. Good advice. Thanks much! I’ll upload some pics with the bike down by the river that runs through the property.

Maybe we should meet up and take the classics out on those trails one of these days, that's a beautiful area. It's a tough wait but I just do any exhaust burning over the winter :)

Absolutely. Has to be once I get the DT250 finished. That 100 isn't going to cut it on these trails. You'll want to bring a kayak. The Mattole runs right through. Pretty lazy in the summer but could be good in the Spring before the water drops down. I'll drop in some pics at some point.
