DT1/DT2 Exhaust was created by Dave G

Hi can anyone answer whether these are interchangeable?

I have been offered an aftermarket exhaust for a DT1 and wanted to know if it will fit my DT2

Thanks for any help

From what i recall there's frame differences between DT1 & DT2 but pipe will still fit. Locating mounts could need altering but that's all. Close enough to go buy it before you miss out. Frame didn't change in a big way until "74, but motor design changed too then.

This is a '71 with a '72 exhaust.

The only difference in DT1 and 2 exhaust is the heat guard style and how the guard mounts.  Good picture of another messed up Kaplan bike. Yikes!
