Crank was reconditioned with a new rod and big end, then balanced and aligned by an old boy who was one of those, seen it all, done it all, types. I could of talked to him all day, such knowledge and detail.

I found a replacement crank too, and used the mag side so I’d have a clean crank seal surface.

It's a refreshing sight to see the investment in that fresh metal in a vintage Enduro.

Very nice work...  posting the part Wossner part numbers for the rod (especially) and piston might help someone someday if you have them.

First time I've seen a Wossner rod in one of these old bikes...
1963 YG1-T, 1965 MG1-T, Allstate 250, 1970 CT1b, 1971 R5, 1973 AT3MX, 1974 TS400L, 1975 RD350, 1976 DT175C, 1976 Husqvarna 250CR, 1981 DT175G, 1988 DT50, 1990 "Super" DT50, 1991 RT180, 2017 XT250

Your right about the rod MarkT, the old guy offered me a number of rods with some names I’ve never heard of, the Wossner was actually middle of the road price wise but the part number and model listing actually surprised me.

The piston was from the same shop who did the liner.
