I can't help with the supply of parts I'm afraid (even if I could, I'm on the "wrong" side of the Atlantic!), but it would be interesting to know which of the constituent parts are shared with the RDs and TXs of the same era. A right pain that Yamaha don't list a lot of them as separate parts.
Good luck with your search!

This one is a little crusty. With some cleaning and a new seal kit it might work for you.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.

Are you still in need of a gas cap? I have a pitted one that I could donate for parts.

If you need the seals, KDI Reproductions makes them.
If you need "metal parts" I might have something in my storage... I've been looking for a box to ship a gas tank and remembered I might have one in storage so planning to go there in the next few days.

This question relates to the RT flip type gas cap. Why do they go missing, and, where are they all. There are plenty of tanks for sale although mostly dented and rusty but all have the filler cap missing. I can understand caps being unscrewed and lost but these are normally attached to the tank so require a definite decision to separate them from the tank. Can you guys enlighten me, is there a huge pile of gas tank caps in fort Knox waiting till they sell for more than gold?
