Oil pump drive shaft was created by Superdad60

is number 3 (oil pump drive) supposed to turn with the engine no matter what?
even just the kickstart….

i thought my pump failed but looks like clutch side cover coming off. That pump drive shaft just spins free with my fingers and not with engine turn

Maybe that plastic gear drive #8 or the pin #6 that turns the drive shaft.

thanks

That shaft should not spin free, you'll have to take it apart to see what happened.
