The cable picture on Yambits doesn't look right...  Looks like the threaded type?

78-81 DT175 monoshock uses the "slip fit, retained by clip" oil pump cable retention at the case..

I've never tried to "mix and match" cables...  the later 3J lower pump cable might also fit the earlier 2A6 bikes?   I've only used a complete later cable set. 

(The 80-81 cable splitter is a new "self compensating" design but lower cable could possibly work with older splitter?)
