Won't have a good solid idea on what to do with it till I get my hands on it this coming weekend..
I have my 75 dt100 that I wanted to bring back to street duty.. it's in real rough shape.. and would need quite a bit to street it. It is missing brake/turn lights.. gauges and that motor is locked as well.. lots of rust..
so after I get the thing home I will decide which bike will be easier to get road ready... if the '73 is as complete as I think it is.. likely that's the one.. and the DT will be just a little trail bike to have fun on...

I posted a video in the restoration area... details the bike and condition.
Looks like I need the pipe, handlebars and to free up the motor.. otherwise it's in real good shape.. needing just the regular stuff gone through. when getting one running.
MarkT.. please let me know if the pipe you have is a match please!

I tried to see if the tank would clean up.. but it's going to need to be cleaned, dent repaired and then painted. The other painted parts are really good.. they will clean up nice.
If i can get a pipe i will be halfway there and can get serious about getting it running.

Alright now!
My replacement exhaust showed up today.. and it looks in great shape..!
A little surface rust is all.. but no cracks or broken parts... Happy I am..

I’ve been working on my barn find for a couple months
It was on the same shape with 30 yr old gas in the tank
Had it running long enough to get the new carb adjusted and now I’m not getting any fire
I’ll figure it out one day
Just like tinkering with stuff like that.
I gave 100 bucks for it
