CT3 lights was created by ksours

When I bought the CT3 it had no key and the ignition had been abused with a screwdriver. On advice from a locksmith I went ahead and purchased a key and it worked. Kind of I think. I put on a new hand switch and everything came around except the head light and lamp lights. I took the handle switch apart and there is no juice to the light switch portion of the handle switch. The electric diagrams show that in position 2 ( off-1-2 ) night ,  the ignition switch energizes the circuits for the lights and lamps. Is there a quick way to check the output of the ignition switch without taking it apart? Also I have power to the turn signals but they are not pulsing my guess is the flasher?

Did you have the engine running?
Only the tail light will come on without the engine running.
Check the wattage of each indicator lamp against the spec in the manual as this can affect the flasher relay.
You can take the relay apart, it's not hard to do, worth giving it a tap while indicators are on, sometimes it gets it going.

You da man. The engine is on the bench getting ready for a rebuild. The tail light did come on. Always helps when you have good info. The flasher did not pass the test so I am looking for a cheap replacement. Thank you

I converted my CT1-C to LED indicator bulbs as the originals are pretty dim.
Heres a link to the parts I used.

Relay will work for standard bulbs, no need to connect the P terminal if not using LEDs.
