DT2 exhaust baffle stuck was created by Bartman512

Just brought this DT2 back to life, starts, idles but kinda bogs. Carb is clean, new reeds and a ebay pipe which I'm wondering if it needs a good cleaning, problem is the baffle is stuck. I removed the screw but that guy feels like its welded in there. Any tricks to getting it out?

DT2 baffle has a pretty short contact area with the exhaust pipe , probably only 25mm .
Drop the pipe end into a can of Kerosine , or white spirits  for a day or two to soften up
carbon / oil deposits .
A short screw inserted from the inside , but not extending past the outside of the baffle ,
will give a purchase point , to be able to twist the baffle out . Hopefully , that is .
