This is an incredibly useful thread. Iit would be very cool when I get more done on model specific pages if we had color codes by model listed!

Can you use a clear over the this paint for the fenders? I want something that will stand up to actual use. I don't do show bikes, I ride them so the paint needs to stand up as good if not better than original.
Silver paint for headlight bucket, fenders, and fork ears. Shared by Tiki (thank you).

SprayMax 2K has a great reputation for being fuel/chemical resistant, and bonding well to a wide variety of paints.
Everyone I have talked to that has used it, has as good a result as mine.

Awesome work on that red!

I'm still hoping someone will come across a decent substitute for the 1970 CT1b candy green! I know you can buy it but I'd like to find something more like what was done by Little Milo with the brilliant red... I'm always looking at paints at the parts stores but haven't seen anything yet that looks close.

This is great stuff Devin!

Thank you for detailing all of this-

I used a RT3 Oil Tank on my Black Widow and did the RT1 Paint scheme with the 1970 RT1 Decal- I really like the look of this tank on the bike.

Nice stripes guys! I love seeing the custom touches and extra love everybody puts into these great machines. Here's my oil tank I did just as a test of a black on black color scheme. I'm digging it.
