I'm sure most of us have had similar experiences while piloting our vintage enduro's... My ten mile commute starts off with a short section of two lane highway as I make my way from the west end of the tiny town I live in to its eastern limit. The two lanes of the Trans Canada Hwy are choked down to 60 kilometers per hour through town and early in the morning most of the traffic is made up of semi's and people taking the fast route to work. Just before the speed limit returns to the blistering pace of 90 kph,...

It's Been an Amazing Year!

We started out this site with a hope that someone would come along and keep us company. In the beginning, a goal of 400 users in a year seemed out of reach. Then things sort of went crazy. Just past a year online with the site and we hit over 1,000 registered members. We have had over 4,500 downloads from our technical documents library. And delivering a version of a Thrifty Nickel. Which upon collection, was a voluntary donation.  Looking back, a very clever parental, ploy to get me out of the house. Thanks to my good buddy Tom Walker, who forwarded me the CL ad for a 69 F4. Silver tank then , blue in 1970. I now own a small piece of Tom Young memory, physically. They never come up for sale. The...

Dirt Bikes – Riding a bike anywhere you want

Image2.png
Image3.png
Before we talk about what dirt biking brings to life, let’s clear some things out first. Riding a dirt bike is not for everyone; it should not be taken likely or underestimated in any kind of way. Especially for people who enjoy riding tour bikes and would like to try out dirt biking. Riding a dirt bike is different than riding a street bike in many ways, and the point of riding a dirt bike is not to ride it slowly but to be explosive and agile. It is not for people who don’t like a sense of danger and the...
