writiers schoolSo you always used to read those ads in the back of the magazines at the barber shops or on matchbooks promising fame and fortune if you were to simply send in a $29.95 check to "The Famous Writers School" and think - I could do that! You fancied yourself a soul mate with our famous author picture up top. (If you don't recognize him, the spoiler is at the end!)

There are a number of ways to get your name published.

You could come to the site and simply post up in the forum section. Tell us about your bike or your rides. Give us a lesson on how to extract a tool you dropped into the crankcase. All good.

The other really easy way to contribute to the content on the site is to send us PDF versions (scanning is the easiest) of old Yamaha Enduro Advertisements, Ride Tests and the like from back in the day.

DT125MX Ad - French cover We are especially looking for international (i.e. Non-US) ads and articles. We have a great collection of FRENCH articles, but not a thing in German, or even Japanese!

If you are in the UK, Australia, South Africa, or any other country where we know these bikes were sold and written about, dig about in your attic and see what you can find! We may not be able to read it, but just like when we were little kids, we love the pictures!

We are also always on the look for scans of Out of Print Yamaha Manuals (service or owner) for the vintage bikes. These are available for free to our members so give a little to get a lot! We can even provide a scanning service if you prefer to let us do the work!

Just contact us at admin@yamaha-enduros.com and we can make the arrangements! You will even get a neat little badge on your profile if you send us cool stuff. It will move you from a Novice rating to a Content Contributor overnight!

As they used to say in the Vegamatic ads - It's That Easy!

Of course you do need to be a member before you will see all the cool stuff we have for download, but suffice it to say Why Aren't you Already a member? It is free to join. At least for now. Could change. But for now it is free. And free is a very good price!

Oh Yea - that famous author up top is . . . Oscar Wilde who is famous for such zingers as "Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes."
