Probably the best way to premix is to have an empty container, the proper amount of oil and go to a gas station, put the oil in the can, then fill the rest with gas according to the needed mix. That way the inflow of fuel will mix the oil nicely. If you are on the road, and just have the oil and a pump, you can mix it right in the tank like racers have been doing for years. There is a fair margin of error available. The other question is how much oil to how much gas get the proper ratio? Here you go!
Gas to Oil Pre-Mix Ratio's for Two Stroke Engines Determine your ratio, figure out how much gas you will be using and use the chart to compute the proper amount of oil.
