I didn't see jetting info in the Yamaha DT2 MX manuals in the Tech Library. Might just be me? :Ugh

For the DT2MX Clymer manual says:

Main 250
Needle jet P-5
Needle 6F5 (clip in groove 4 from the top)
Cutaway 2.5
Pilot 60
Air screw 1.0 turns open
Float level 25.5 mm
1963 YG1-T, 1965 MG1-T, Allstate 250, 1970 CT1b, 1971 R5, 1973 AT3MX, 1974 TS400L, 1975 RD350, 1976 DT175C, 1976 Husqvarna 250CR, 1981 DT175G, 1988 DT50, 1990 "Super" DT50, 1991 RT180, 2017 XT250

Checked with Yamaha Service data sheet and Float level there differs from what Mark has quoted you . My information lists it as 20.7 mm + or - 1.0 mm .
That possibly could be two differing methods of measuring .
It's a significant difference , but when setting I'm sure it'll be obvious which particular value should be used .

Here's the info from the Yamaha bible we had at work back in the day. I can try & scan it better as just took multiple pics [easy way]. Had a DT2MX brand new--i'll find a pic. Float level is top of the next pic after the main carb setings .
