Front brake switch fitting was created by Logan

Hi all
I have started to put my 250 MX back together but cant for the life of me remember how the front brake switch mounts into the handler bar bracket, it goes in but doesnt seem to click, anyone got any ideas ?

Pictures would  help but there's little tabs that often break...  I don't remove old switch from bracket unless really necessary anymore because they are almost always brittle and break and won't snap back in.

Outside North America, Yamaha used "MX" to identify "monocross suspension" Enduros...  and in many countries you had the choice of a twin shock or monoshock model in the same model year unlike here where in 1977 most Enduro models became monoshock models. 

A US DT250D,E, or F is called a DT250MX in Europe for example...  plus they had them past 1979.
