Site running slowly today was created by Gr8uncleal

Impossible to use on my old browser (whereas it was previously very quick) and irritatingly slow on my new one.

Anything to do with the experimental upgrades, adverts etc?

Thanks Mako.

Super slow on my PC with Chrome. Message preview not working. Unusable on android phone, also with Chrome. See pic for error message at top of page. It hangs on this screen and freezes.

Could be. Variety of issues causing slow downs in different areas. I don’t think any of the updates should have had any slowdown issues, just the opposite - HOWERVER - I am not ruling anything out. There re several site issues currently being worked on and a couple of issues that have recently arisen.

I have the messaging extension vendor sorting out the issues there, but don’t have an eta on that. That could be causing a slow down so please bear with us. Lots of plans for site improvements, but I have to sort out these issues first.

The Amazon ads should have no impact on anything, though I may try disabling them as a test.

Thanks for the feedback, as it is increasingly helpful. I have the blessing of rocket fast internet, so don’t always see issues you all may experience.

I'm seeing the following at the bottom of pages that I've never noticed before today (on Windows PC with Chrome). This is just a sample capture. It scrolls for pages when expanded. Let me know if you need more info. I'm retired IT, so I feel your pain.
